The
Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the
property/organization, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls,
and efficient financial performance. The role requires deep knowledge of
hospitality accounting standards, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and
compliance. The Finance Manager partners closely with operational departments
to support profitability and long-term financial health.
WHAT WILL YOU DOYour main duties and responsibilities are:
Financial
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, review, and analyze
monthly financial statements in compliance with hospitality accounting
standards.
- Ensure timely month-end closing
activities, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Present financial performance
to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key trends.
Budgeting
& Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget
development for the property/organization.
- Prepare accurate rolling
forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Collaborate with department
heads to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Cash
Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow
operations and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
- Oversee accounts receivable,
accounts payable, credit policies, and billing activities.
- Optimize working capital and
develop strategies for cost savings.
Internal
Controls & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal
control systems and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with local
regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and
external auditors.
Systems
& Process Management
- Oversee the finance systems
- Drive process improvements and
automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure proper integration of
operational systems with finance/reporting tools.
Team
Leadership
- Supervise and develop the
finance team (Accountants, AR/AP, Cost Controller).
- Provide training on financial
policies and hospitality accounting standards.
- Foster a culture of accuracy,
accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare, review, and analyze
monthly financial statements in compliance with hospitality accounting
standards.
- Ensure timely month-end closing

- Present financial performance

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORThe successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
Education
& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of finance
experience, ideally in hotels, resorts, or F&B groups.
