About The Barley Mow

Situated in the heart of Mayfair, The Barley Mow is a modern take on the classic London pub. With its lively bar, premium drinks selection and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy everything from perfectly poured pints to elegant cocktails and a thoughtfully curated wine list.

The Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. You’ll be at the centre of the guest experience – serving drinks with personality and flair, making every guest feel welcome, and upholding the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks including cocktails, beers, wines and spirits.

• Deliver warm, engaging and knowledgeable service to all guests.

• Keep the bar clean, organised and well-presented at all times.

• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service during busy shifts.

• Share knowledge of menus, seasonal specials and drinks pairings with confidence.

• Handle payments accurately and efficiently.

• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused culture.

About You

• Previous bar experience in a premium hospitality environment.

• Genuine passion for drinks, pubs and guest service.

• Confident, friendly and professional communication skills.

• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong team player with a proactive approach.

• Cocktail, wine and spirit knowledge is desirable – but full training will be provided.
