We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is £28,832.00 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £28,000.00 plus a qualified estimate of £832.00 gratuities per annum.
About the role
The IT Technician is a brand new role reporting into the IT Manager and will be based on site and will provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for staff and liaise with our 3rd party IT service providers. The role will assist in bringing more IT support in house, handle 1st and 2nd line issues and support with delivering IT projects.
The duties of our IT Technician include:
· Provide onsite IT support for staff.
· Build, roll out, and replace PCs and hardware/software.
· Set up and manage mobile devices and tablets.
· Liaise with 3rd party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.
· Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory.
· Manage user accounts including new user creation, and processing leavers and movers.
· Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.
· Continuously improve IT documentation and policies.
· Assist Operations with daily IT issues as needed.
· Supporting and implementing new IT projects.
About you
· 2 years+ experience of 1st, 2nd line IT support.
· Good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC Builds, mobile phones, MS Office suite.
· Good knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD / 365, Intune.
· Basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills.
· Familiarisation of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
· Familiarisation of monitoring tools, ticketing software.
· ITIL certification (advantageous)
· Enthusiasm and willing to learn.
· Keen to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
