We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. With a substantial investment in excess of £80 million, we are enriching our resort including the addition of a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club, and much more.

HOUSEKEEPING

The Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstanding professionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.


Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is a £27,560.60 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £26,063 supplemented by an estimated £1,497.60 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.



About the role

As a supervisor in the housekeeping team, you will be required to assist the Housekeeping Management with, but not limited to, leading an AM or PM shift from the floor, briefing and directing the team.  You will also be responsible for the following:

·        Ability to work as a Supreme, cleaning rooms to the highest standards as business requires

·        Hands on approach to housekeeping – demonstrating, training, leading

·        People management – persuasive, inspiring and determined. Helping all team members achieve their full potential in their role

·        Monitoring and managing the Q – ensuring room readiness

·        Monitoring HSK back of house areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness at all times

·        Stock control and organisation across the blocks

·        Cleanliness of the block public spaces

·        Cleanliness of the guest rooms and corridors

·        Standards testing of the housekeeping line staff and regular quality checks of all areas

·        Assist with training of new and existing staff

·        Attend and lead departmental briefings

·        Communicate and work with other departments in the hotel

·        Actioning guest feedback (ReviewPro etc)


About you

The ideal candidate with be passionate about the delivery of exceptional standards:

  • An experienced housekeeper who has had experience in working in a busy housekeeping department
  • An inspirational leader who develops your team and fosters excitement for delivering standards every day
  • Fantastic eye for detail
  • Experienced in taking ownership over your department and achieving financial and guest targets
  • Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, team, and colleagues
