Description

We have a new opportunity at The Belfry Hotel & Resort for a Recruitment & HR Coordinator on a fixed term contract.  The period required is from 22 March 2021 to 31 May 2021.  

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is a leading 4* Resort settled in 550 acres of West Midlands countryside. Our world-class facilities include luxurious guest bedrooms, over 20 conference and events rooms, restaurants, bars, a nightclub, a luxury Spa and Health Club and of course… amazing golf!


The key focus of the role as recruitment lead involves taking daily ownership of Harri, our applicant tracking system.  This involves posting approved applicant tracking requests internally and externally.  Monitoring daily applications, assisting with selection, carry out telephone screening, arranging interviews including attendance at interviews, if required. 

Also:

  • Process right to work checks via Trust ID.  Obtain references. 
  • Complete on-boarding documentation via Harri.
  • Carry out basic training on Harri for line managers.
  • Coordinate new starters’ attendance to ‘Welcome to The Belfry’ session, e-learning and payroll.
  • Liaise with Harri.

As part of your HR duties, we need someone confident to help deliver our 'Welcome to The Belfry' presentation to returning employees to the Resort, alongside:

  • Coordinate flexi furlough agreements with line managers and payroll.
  • Complete employee reference requests.
  • Assist with documentation for ad-hoc employee relation issues in conjunction with our legal provider.
  • Maintain apprenticeship scheme updates, if required.
  • Issue approved variation to contracts and flexible working requests.
  • Submit monthly headcount report.
  • Carry out driving licence checks.
Required experience:
- Recruitment including applicant tracking systems
- Onboarding, full cycle
- Induction, including presenting
- HR Administration including use of personnel database
- Day to day employee relation issues 
  
This position will be primarily a standalone role for the duration of the contract term so ability to work on own initiative is essential.  There will be support available from the management team on site.  There is an external employment law provider for additional support, if required. 

During your fixed term contract you will enjoy free meals on duty and free car parking.

The proposed rate of pay is £25,000 to £30,000 pro-rata, dependent upon experience within both recruitment and HR.
