Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Meeting and Events Bar and set up a Supervisor to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2024, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.

 

 

Salary

 

The on-target earning potential for this role is £30,377 annual salary, compromising of a base salary of £28,271 plus a qualified estimate of £2,106 gratuities per annum

 

About the role

 

This role is 45 hours per week, from 12 or 3 pm until close 5 days out of seven.

 This role will include:

  • Overseeing key services and ensuring a fantastic experience for all of our guests
  • Working with the bar Manager to establish and implement standards of performance within the department
  • Ensuring the team is fully briefed and trained
  • Creating an environment which promotes employee morale and pride 

 

About you

The ideal candidate will have worked within a busy hotel or bar at a supervisory level.  You must be passionate about the delivery of exceptional customer service in a stunning environment you will also be:

  • An experienced supervisor who has led teams in busy, food and beverage setting
  • Passionate about quality food, wine and beverages and the use of seasonal produce
  • An inspirational leader who develops your team and fosters excitement for our food and drinks offering
  • Fantastic eye for detail
  • Experienced in taking ownership over your department and achieving financial and guest targets
  • Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, team, and colleagues
