We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. With a substantial investment in excess of £80 million, we are enriching our resort including the addition of a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club, and much more.

About the role

Are you passionate about creating safe and sustainable environments? We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Executive to help us uphold the highest standards in safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.

In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our Health & Safety culture across the resort. From managing our digital compliance portal to ensuring accurate and timely reporting of incidents and authority feedback, you will be the go-to person for all things safety-related. You'll work closely with teams across the resort to drive compliance and champion best practices.

But this role is about more than just compliance. You’ll also be instrumental in supporting and delivering impactful Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives that reflect our values and sustainability goals. Your insight will shape our reporting strategy, with weekly, monthly, and annual data shared directly with resort leadership to support continuous improvement.

The expected hours for this role will be 35 hours per week.

Salary

The on target earning potential for this role is £28,337.40, compromising of a base salary of £27,027.000 plus a qualified estimate of £1310.40 gratuities.

About you

·       You have a solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation

·       You’re detail-oriented with experience managing compliance systems and reporting tools

·       You have previous experience in a similar role within hospitality, leisure, or a fast-paced service environment

·       You’re a confident communicator with the ability to influence and educate teams at all levels

·       You have a genuine interest in sustainability and experience (or enthusiasm) for supporting ESG initiatives.
