We are seeking an outgoing and approachable Assistant Manager who has a strong background in Front of House operations to join our team at The Black Lion. Working closely with the General Manager, the forefront of this role will include managing our Front of House team and ensuring all operations run smoothly and effectively.

Set in the picturesque village of Long Melford in the heart of Suffolk, there is much to explore in our area from our country park, to Kentwell Hall to our neighbouring villages of Clare and Lavenham.

·      Leading guests through an all aspects of an enjoyable restaurant/hotel experience  

·      Wet stock management in the property

·      Organisation of large group events from planning through to execution
