We’re recruiting for a Reservations Manager to join the team at The Blues Kitchen.
We’re looking for a Reservations Manager who gets that the guest journey doesn’t start at the door. It starts with you. Someone who knows the London dining/nightlife scene inside out and can shape experiences that feel personal, not packaged. This role suits someone with at least one year’s experience working in reservations, hosting, events or guest services within a comparable venue or hospitality group, who understands how great reservations support both guest experience and a busy, commercial operation.
The role
Working across The Blues Kitchen, you’ll support the reservations function and act as a key link between guests, venues and the wider team. You’ll be responsible for keeping bookings organised, accurate and handled with care. You will:
Manage reservations using OpenTable and Collins, with full training provided
Respond to guest enquiries by email and phone in a friendly, confident and professional way
Build relationships with guests while capturing key details such as dietary requirements, special occasions and preferences
Ensure clear communication between guests, venue teams and internal departments
Support private hire and group bookings, with a focus on maximising covers and opportunities
Track booking trends and share insight into guest behaviour and demand
You’ll also work closely with marketing and venue teams, gaining a broader understanding of how the group operates.
What we’re looking for
At least one year’s experience in reservations or hosting in a similar hospitality environment
A strong understanding of London dining, nightlife and club culture
A calm, confident communicator with a natural way with guests
Organised, detail focused and comfortable managing multiple bookings at once
An interest in the commercial side of hospitality and how reservations drive loyalty and repeat visits
Why you’ll love working with us:
Competitive salary with performance bonus potential
50% discount across all Columbo Group venues
Free guestlist to shows, club nights and festivals
Friendly office environment with a creative team
Referral rewards and pension via NEST
