Description
We're looking for dedicated Chef de Parties to join the kitchen team at The Blues Kitchen in London.
Join our team at The Blues Kitchen as a Chef de Partie, where consistency and quality are at the heart of everything we do. Our kitchen serves American classics with a club grill twist, and we’re looking for a reliable, experienced chef who can keep standards high and deliver excellent dishes every time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Cook dishes following our recipes and guidelines.
- Make sure every plate looks and tastes great.
- Keep your station clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Follow all hygiene and safety rules during lunch and dinner service.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team.
- Help make sure service runs smoothly and food quality stays consistent.
- Store and handle ingredients properly to keep them fresh.
- Ensure every dish is made to the same high standard.
- Check presentation and portion sizes so every guest has the same great experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, ideally in a busy, quality-focused kitchen.
- You follow recipes carefully, keep your station clean, and maintain high standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm and work well during busy shifts.
- Passionate about delivering great food and maintaining The Blues Kitchen’s high standards every day.
What to Expect:
- Competitive Pay: £12.25 per hour plus tronc (total package usually in the range of £14.75 - £17 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
- The Blues Kitchen is a lively bar, restaurant and music venue meaning our teams work a variety of daytime and evening shifts over the course of the week.
