The Columbo Group (the team behind iconic London venues including The Blues Kitchen, Jazz Café, Old Queens Head, The Parakeet, and more) is looking for a skilled In-House Electrician to join our team. We operate some of the capital’s most loved music venues, bars, and restaurants, and we’re proud to deliver safe, efficient, and welcoming spaces for our guests and teams. The In-House Electrician will play a key role in keeping our venues running smoothly, supporting both planned maintenance and reactive repairs across our portfolio.

What you’ll do:

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across our venues and offices

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and efficiently

• Work closely with the Facilities and Operations teams to prioritise jobs and minimise downtime

• Support wider building and maintenance projects when required

• Keep accurate records of all inspections, works, and certifications

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS card preferred)

• Strong track record in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding

• Experience working in hospitality, events, or similar environments (desirable but not essential)

• Flexible and proactive, with a hands-on, problem-solving approach

• Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites

• A team player who takes pride in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming venues
