Description
The Chesterfield Palm Beach is surrounded by palm lined boulevards and elegant villas, just two blocks from the famous Worth Avenue and moments from white sandy beaches. With a passion for traditional hospitality and old-world charm, showcasing beautiful, individually designed bedrooms and suites, traditional high tea and warm and friendly service. The ever popular Leopard Lounge serves delicious international cuisine, creative cocktails and live music every night of the week.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star Hotel or fine dinning restaurant
- Good Health and Safety and Food Hygiene awareness
- Good knowledge of using a wide range of kitchen equipment
- Communicate effectively in English
- Be positive, proactive, reliable and have a flexible attitude
