At The Coal Shed Brighton, part of the Black Rock Restaurant Group, we’re known for fire-based cooking, premium British produce, and exceptional service. Now, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to support the seamless running of the Bar. This role will see you working across both sites , The Coal Shed Brighton & Burnt Orange.


About the Role:

As Bartender, you will support the seamless running of the Bar, by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and customer needs are anticipated.  To establish and maintain good working relationships amongst the bar and front of house team. 

In This Role You’ll:

  • To provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of bar menu, to have the ability to explain items based on guest inquiries.
  • The willingness to learn and have a keen interest in cocktails, and/or spirits and wines.
  • To follow all cocktail specifications ensuring consistency and minimal wastage.
  • Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills.
  • To always be well presented. Uniform will be given; however, it will be your responsibility to arrive to work immaculate and make sure you remain that way for the duration of your shift
  • Be an ambassador for the ethics and values of Black Rock Restaurants 
  • To provide excellent customer service skills.

  • Passion for quality food, wine, and exceptional guest experiences
