Join Birchwood at The Conduit as Head Barista and be part of an exciting chef-led opening from Will Devlin in the heart of Covent Garden.
This will be the second Birchwood restaurant, and third restaurant with Will at the helm. It is a beautifully considered restaurant offering all day dining, with breakfasts and grab and go during the day, moving into small plates and sharing platters in the evening.
This is an opportunity for a passionate and skilled coffee professional to lead the barista function within a quality-led hospitality environment. As Head Barista, you will take ownership of the coffee offering, lead the barista station during service, support and develop the team, and help create a warm, engaging guest experience built around quality, craft and attention to detail.
We are looking for candidates with experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista within a busy café, restaurant or premium hospitality environment. You should have strong coffee knowledge, confidence working with espresso equipment and brewing techniques, and a genuine passion for consistency and guest experience. You will be organised, hands-on and calm under pressure, with the ability to lead by example and support a positive, collaborative team culture. Most importantly, you will bring energy, professionalism and personality to the floor every day.
In return, you’ll join a values-driven team focused on thoughtful hospitality, exceptional produce and creating memorable guest experiences, with the opportunity to grow within an ambitious new restaurant.
This role is offered as a salaried, 40 hour per week contract, over a 7 day operation.
You must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship.
