Nettle is a new rooftop restaurant at The Conduit in Covent Garden, created in partnership with Levy UK.

We're looking for...

As a Restaurant Bartender, you will deliver high-quality drinks and engaging service, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for members and guests.

You will take ownership of the bar during service, ensuring drinks are prepared to a high standard, while contributing to a drinks offering that reflects seasonality, creativity and low-waste principles.

Bartender - The Role

Key Duties

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks to a high standard
  • Deliver drinks with consistency, attention to detail and presentation
  • Support a cocktail approach that is seasonal, ingredient-led and low-waste
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the drinks list, including low-intervention and natural wines
  • Ensure efficient service from the bar, supporting both guests and floor team
  • Provide warm, knowledgeable and engaging service
  • Confidently recommend drinks, including wines and cocktails, based on guest preferences
  • Share the story behind products, ingredients and producers where appropriate
  • Build rapport with members and contribute to a welcoming bar environment
  • Set up and maintain the bar, ensuring it is clean, stocked and organised
  • Support stock control, ordering and deliveries
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues
  • Assist with menu updates and daily changes where required
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across FOH and BOH areas
  • Work closely with front of house and kitchen teams
  • Support training and development of new team members
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture

What we're looking for
Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Bartender in a high end Restaurant
  • Good knowledge of cocktails, Wines and beverage service
  • Interest in seasonal ingredients and low-waste approaches
  • Interest in or knowledge of low-intervention / natural wines
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
