Role Overview: We seek a strategic, results-oriented leader to drive global membership growth, engagement, and retention across our London and New York City location. This role requires a visionary with a deep understanding of community building, business development, and membership engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global membership strategy to attract high-calibre members.
  • Drive member acquisition, retention, and satisfaction for London and New York location.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch of new markets.
  • Identify and build partnerships to attract corporate and group memberships.
  • Oversee member events, programs, and experiences that foster a vibrant and impactful community.
  • Utilize data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and refine strategies.
  • Manage membership budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting.
  • Actively engage with members, attending events and building lasting relationships.
  • Serve as a senior contact for member conduct, ensuring a respectful and inclusive community environment.

Community Building & Engagement:

  • Work with internal teams to design and deliver high-impact events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
  • Lead the development of digital and in-person engagement initiatives to maintain a connected global community.
  • Implement strategies to encourage cross-regional collaboration and active member participation.
  • Promote inclusion and diversity across all membership activities. 

Operational & Commercial Leadership:

  • Oversee membership operations, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding to renewal.
  • Lead financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor key metrics such as CAC, LTV, and retention rates to drive growth.

Stakeholder & Partnership Development:

  • Establish partnerships with aligned organizations to enhance member benefits.
  • Represent The Conduit at industry events, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align membership strategies with broader business goals.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing membership team.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in membership, community management, or business development.
  • Proven success in scaling membership programs internationally.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven, with experience in financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Passion for impact-driven communities and mission-aligned work.
