Membership Sales Consultant - Full Time Contract

Purpose & Scope
We are on the lookout for someone who loves to sell, they love communicating with people via, phone, email and most importantly in person. You love the buzz of hitting the targets and what is even better at the Conduit your contribution is making a real difference as we grow this community of Changemakers. With the support of the Membership HOD and wider departments you will be focused on all membership acquisition activities from Open Days to 121 tours and much more.
As our ideal candidate, you will have 2-5 years' experience in membership sales, business development, community building for referrals or similar. You should also have:
· Charisma and confidence when communicating, with a can-do attitude with a love of building repour with new people to close sales
· An entrepreneurial spirit, quick to spot new opportunities to increase sales, improve systems and processes
· Motivated by hitting targets and enjoy the ‘buzz’
· A keen desire to understand our client’s needs. You are fascinated by the power of social business to achieve the vital social, environmental and economic shifts required to create a fair and sustainable future
· You are enthusiastic about The Conduit’s mission to achieve positive social change through collaboration between its members. You understand the Membership Club market and The Conduit’s unique position within it.
Responsibilities & Key Duties
From first point of contacted you will be an expert in all things The Conduit, speaking to individuals from all sectors and backgrounds. You will represent who and what we are but most importantly how they could impact change with us
· Drive of membership acquisition strategy with the Head of Membership, including the budgeting of member growth in line with the company strategy.
· Conduiting tours with new potential members for the club
· Outbound and inbound calls where repour building, to closing a new member and sales understand to also suggest target sectors/individuals to approach and proactively sell
· Supports in achieving budgeted yearly membership acquisition forecasts in line with membership category demographics
· Help design, attend and run activities to attract new members, for example but not limited to Open Days and outreach events.
· Engage with members to increase the visibility of The Conduit and drive organic growth where referrals is at the heart of our growth
· Support HOD in developing a pipeline of corporate targets for membership growth in corporate memberships
· Keeping the CRM UpToDate and accurate with an ability to segment the CRM to find opportunities for new potential members
· support inclusive approach to member recruitment and demographic balance within the community
· With the team conduct new member onboarding process
· Work with the HOD to help design and deliver effective corporate outreach strategies with a solid pipeline of corporate targets throughout the year
· Supporting with the renewal process to make sure we control out renewal rate to meet budget
· Actively champions and promotes The Conduit Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy
· Alongside your key duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required in line with business needs.

· 2-5yrs of sales experience or equivalent
· Experience in a sales function with KPIs and Targets
· Experience working with CRM PeopleVine preferred but training will be given
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, other languages a plus
· Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail and a sense of urgency
· Ability to manage and prioritise challenging workloads
· Strongly results oriented, ability to work independently and show initiative
· Ability to balance several different tasks simultaneously in order to meet deadlines
· Views individual differences as a way to build new ideas and innovations.
