Following an extensive investment in 2024, the pub offers guests a warm and inviting atmosphere, featuring cozy rooms, open fires, and a modern extension with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the landscaped garden, providing an ideal setting for outdoor dining during warmer months.

The chef-led kitchen presents seasonal and locally sourced menus that change regularly, showcasing a delightful array of dishes to cater to diverse tastes. Guests can indulge in delectable appetizers, mouthwatering main courses, and sweet treats, complemented by an impressive selection of handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options.

The job in a nutshell
Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard across your section
Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day operations
Contribute to menu development with seasonal and creative ideas
Help train and guide junior kitchen staff
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis ready to step up
A genuine love of cooking and attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
A calm head under pressure and a drive to continuously improve
Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 minimum preferred)
