About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Executive - MICE to join our commercial team at The Diplomat Radisson Blu in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment, ensuring high-quality service, and achieving revenue targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic individual with a background in MICE sales to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new MICE business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, event organizers, and wedding planners.
  • Actively sell the hotel’s MICE services including meeting rooms, banqueting, outside catering and event facilities.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and pricing for MICE clients and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events and meetings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to provide strategic input.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create promotional material and drive campaigns for MICE offerings.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote the hotel’s MICE services.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets set by the sales department.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of the MICE market in Bahrain and the GCC region.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain is ideally located in the heart of the city’s commercial and diplomatic area with 245-keys as well as 121 Residence unit. The hotel also have one of the largest convention center in the city as well as 15 meeting rooms as well as six restaurants and bars. The Diplomat Garden with 3 swimming pools, the extensive The Diplomat Spa, s state-of-the-art gym and an exclusive Ladies’ only Spa & Gym are part of the hotel’s facilities to make every moment matter!  Two newly renovated dining venues are waiting for your touches and creativity skills!
