Assistant Financial Controller


Description
We are recruiting for a passionate and confident Assistant Financial Controller to work closely with the Financial Controller, hotel and regional office colleagues to improve the profitability of the hotel.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Financial Controller will include:

• Completing the payroll on a monthly basis in accordance to the financial timetable, ensuring that full records are retained
• Closing month end in a timely manner in accordance with group deadlines, ensuring all accruals, prepayments and statistics are accurately captured in the correct financial period.
• Reviewing the P&L with General Manager and senior team on a monthly basis and complete any supplementary reports required by Central Finance
• Reconciling the bank statements on a monthly basis, highlighting any risk or abnormalities to Senior Management

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Financial Controller should:

• Have previous experience in a Financial Controller role
• Be numerate with an eye for attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be confident, positive and a strong team player
• Be computer literate and have strong knowledge of spreadsheets
