We are seeking a proactive Night Team Member to join our wonderful team. In this role, you will have dual responsibilities across Reception and Food & Beverage, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests during the night shift. You will also occasionally cover day shifts, providing flexibility and support to the team. We are looking for someone with previous hotel or customer service experience with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail who enjoys delivering personalised service to guests. 

Location: The Egerton House Hotel, Knightsbridge 

Employment type: Full-time 

Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off 

Salary: £25,397 per annum + service charge

The Egerton House Hotel part of Red Carnation Hotels, is a luxury five star town house hotel with 28 bedrooms and suites. The drawing room is where the fabulous range of Afternoon Teas are served and the intimate bar is world famous for its Martini cocktails. Located in one of London's most prestigious areas on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of fashionable Knightsbridge, within walking distance of Harrod’s and the V&A Museum the Egerton House Hotel is know for it's Pet Afternoon Tea.  

Key Responsibilities of a Night Team Member:

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.

  • Handle guest requests and enquiries, creating memorable and personalised experiences.
  • Maintain guest accounts, perform administrative tasks, and ensure the reception area is always immaculate.
  • Support both Reception and Food & Beverage operations, including covering day shifts when needed.
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests throughout the night, including taking and serving orders.
  • Assist with the setup and closing of bar and restaurant areas, ensuring all spaces are clean and organised.

  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer-facing role, ideally within a luxury environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a warm and professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask during quiet and busy periods alike.
  • A flexible, team-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
