The Falstaff Hotel has been a focus for hospitality in Canterbury for over 600 years. A traditional 15th century coaching inn, the hotel is steeped in history. Over the years the hotel has been extended through conversions on an adjacent Wood Mill and a former pub, The Tap. Located just a few steps away from the Westgate Towers, the hotel is within easy walking distance of Canterbury City centre and all that it has to offer, including the world-famous Norman Cathedral (designated a World Heritage site) castle, museums, shops and a choice of over 200 restaurants.
We are on a look out for a hands-on Reception Manager to lead our reception team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee the smooth day-to-day running of reception, manage rotas and training, handle guest enquiries and complaints, and work closely with housekeeping and management to ensure high operational standards. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with strong organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to drive service excellence and maximise room revenue. This is one of the key roles within our hotel, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on guest satisfaction and team performance.
