Your Role

As an accomplished, driven and forward-thinking Restaurant Manager, you are ready to take the lead in a fast-paced F&B front of house environment, overseeing The Clunie (Dining Room), The Drawing Room (Afternoon Tea), Fire Room (Private Dining) and The Fog House (Event space)

You are a leader with strong organisational skills. You are passionate about training and mentoring your team. Your experience allows you to work closely with your team, exceeding the expectation of our guest experience in every aspect of their stay so that they leave us feeling enriched and engaged in our ethos.

You’ll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. All striving to go beyond for guests, our team and the community.

About our Dining and Event spaces

During special events like Burn’s Night, Hogmanay or exclusive events, here at The Fife Arms, The Clunie Dining room transforms into a beautiful social space overlooking the Clunie river, an arm of the River Dee, with a capacity of up to 96 guests.

For a more intimate and cosy dining/event experience, we have the Fog House which can accommodate up to  46 guests or the Fire Room, our private dining area, which has a capacity of 12 guests.

Our Drawing Room, with the original Fire place and mantel from 1852, where guests can enjoy our Afternoon Tea offerings can seat up to 20 guests.

What we are looking for

•   Positive can-do Attitude
•   Lead from the front
•   Service etiquette standards 
•   Knowledge of Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner service
•   Banqueting set up and delivery knowledge 
•   Menu provenance 
•   Labour control costs
•   WSET trained to min level 2
•   Full working knowledge of running multiple dining & event spaces
