We’re currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Art Tours Host to join our team part-time (24 hours per week), supporting our unique art programme and enriching the cultural experience of our guests and team members alike.


The Role: Art Tours Host

As an Art Tours Host, you’ll bring the hotel’s extraordinary art collection to life. From leading engaging guest tours to supporting staff training and helping to shape the cultural spirit of The Fife Arms, this is a role for a confident communicator with a love for art, history, and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities

Guest-Facing Tours

  • Lead daily art tours for hotel guests and invited groups, including bespoke family-friendly tours.
  • Support seasonal and special art experiences developed in partnership with the Head of Arts & Cultural Programming.
  • Gather guest feedback and attendance data to help evolve and improve tour offerings.

Team Engagement & Training

  • Participate in new team member inductions, introducing Artfarm’s artistic ethos.
  • Deliver engaging art training sessions and act as the property’s Art Ambassador.
  • Maintain and refresh team-facing art materials and visual displays.
  • Encourage and organise art-focused team socials, talks, and volunteer opportunities.

Collection Knowledge & Oversight

  • Conduct regular inspections of artworks, reporting issues to management.
  • Develop deep, self-led knowledge of the collection and associated artists.
  • Collaborate on creating guest resources and interpretation tools.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for on-site art-related queries or concerns.

Group Collaboration

  • Join quarterly calls with fellow Art Ambassadors and cultural leads across the wider Artfarm network.
  • Share ideas, best practices, and support group-wide cultural projects.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An excellent communicator with both verbal and written skills
  • Experienced in public speaking or leading tours
  • Confident engaging diverse audiences, including children and families
  • Experienced in cultural or educational environments
  • A motivated self-starter with strong organisational skills
  • Comfortable with technology and reporting tools
  • Able to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
