The award‑winning Fife Arms—a 5‑star retreat in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, holder of 2 Michelin Keys and winner of Employer of the Year at the Aberdeen City & Shire Thistle Awards—is looking for a warm, polished and guest‑focused Front Office Host / Receptionist to join our exceptional team.

About the Role

As a Front Office Host, you’ll be the welcoming face of the Fife Arms, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay. You’ll be part of a creative, high‑performing team that takes pride in exceptional service and genuine hospitality.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering an outstanding guest journey from check‑in to check‑out
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues
  • Bringing confidence, personality and warmth to every interaction
  • Creating a homely, welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel
  • Identifying sales opportunities and making personalised recommendations to enhance each guest’s stay

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and eager to grow within a world‑class environment.

You will bring:

  • Experience in a similar role within a luxury or 5‑star setting - having worked with LQA / Forbes standards is an advantage
  • A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and emotional intelligence
  • The ability to remain calm and composed during busy moments
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
