Hotel, located in the village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms
National Park, is recruiting an Assistant Maintenance
Manager to join the team.
As Assistant Maintenance Manager you will be supporting the
Property Manager in ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high
standard. Areas include guest bedrooms, bathrooms, associated areas, as well as
staff accommodation.
As Assistant
Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Property Manager in the
management of the department, staying abreast of compliance regulations and
procedures in the field of Engineering, as required for hotel standards.
- Assisting with the development and execution
of an annual planned preventative maintenance plan, as well as ensure that
reactive maintenance is carried out timeously.
- Ensuring that the fabric and facilities of the
hotel and other parts of the portfolio are at all times safe, secure, and
operating as required, and presented to a high quality in keeping with the high
standards of the Brand.
- Assisting the Property Manager with all
aspects of property maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and
renovations of the hotel, restaurants and staff accommodation.
- Coordinating with external vendors/contractors
to execute maintenance projects effectively.
- Supporting with the management of the
maintenance team, providing guidance, training and support.
- Fostering positive relationships with hotel
team members, vendors/contractors and stakeholders to uphold the hotels
reputation and brand image.
Our successful Assistant Maintenance Manager will
have:
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a
related field, preferably in a similar luxury hospitality environment.
- Technical knowledge and skill in plumbing, joinery,
electrical systems and general repairs.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and
attention to detail.
- A thorough understanding of Health &
Safety and COSHH.
- A willingness to work to the high standards
that are demanded from a luxury establishment.
- The right to work in the UK as unfortunately we
are unable to secure work visas for this role.
