Head Barista

We are looking for a Head Barista to join our beautiful, flagship coffee house. This is day time only! No late evenings EVER!!

This role will be hugely focussed on making the best coffees and maintaining and looking after all coffee equipment, so a desire and passion to really get stuck in is required here!

A bit about us! 

We established ourselves in 2014 when we opened our first shop on Union St, Southwark and since that first day we have been determined to reinvent the age old traditions of serving a superb cup of coffee in creative and inspiring surroundings.

We create coffee shops that serve delicious, fresh seasonal food, made from scratch by our skilled chefs & we make speciality coffee accessible and enjoyable for all.

This role will be based in our lovely Piccadilly site.

Areas of Responsibility:

• You’ll have a variety of responsibilities that relate to the site. Once fully trained you will be responsible for:
• Being a quality coffee champion
• Ensuring coffee served is to our specifications and is of the highest quality
• Pushing to give the best customer service at all times
• Training and motivating the staff
• Leading a barista team on and off the coffee machine, delegating responsibilities
• Brand ambassador and at the forefront of culture
• Housekeeping and cleanliness of the shop
• Working at the counter and on the shop floor if necessary – assisting manager in daily running of the store
• Coffee and consumables orders
• End of month stock taking & stock management
• Equipment management
