The ideal barista is comfortable working in a fast-paced coffee shop environment and has experience creating unique, tasty beverages our customers will love. Baristas at our coffee shop will be responsible for greeting customers, preparing beverages and serving food. In addition to these duties, the successful person will also take the initiative to develop the knowledge necessary to learn new skills and increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for all aspects of the coffee area including staff, customer service, and the cleaning of equipment.
• Have a working knowledge of coffee products.
• Know how to prepare products consistently and quickly.
• Handle customer complaints and requests with a positive attitude.
• Take responsibility for the maintenance of the coffee shop equipment.
• Have a commitment to continuing education in coffee making skills.
