Description
We are looking for a FOH Team Leader to join our beautiful, flagship coffee house.
No late evenings EVER!!
About The Gentlemen Baristas
We established ourselves in 2014 when we opened our first shop on Union St, Southwark and since that first day, we have been determined to reinvent the age-old traditions of serving a superb cup of coffee in creative and inspiring surroundings.
We create coffee houses that serve delicious, fresh seasonal food, made from scratch by our skilled chefs & we make specialty coffee accessible and enjoyable for all.
Manners are key - they're important, they're neglected, and people do care about them. They go to the core of our identity; we strive to evoke the best of a period gone by, and that’s why our tagline is ‘well-mannered coffee’.
With plans to expand further over the coming 24 months, we are looking for skilled people to join The Gentlemen Baristas family.
About the right candidate:
We need people who not only love coffee but love people, as putting customers at the heart of everything you do in the front-of-house role is key. All our staff have a passion for coffee and love interacting with customers. We want your personalities to shine through and ensure each and every customer’s demands are catered for.
Your role:
You will be responsible for the opening and closing of the shop, leading the team day to day, and you will be reporting to the GM. Training will be provided but some previous experience and basic barista knowledge are needed.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Taking customer orders
- Looking after the shop (opening and closing too)
- Serving Food Items
- Hosting
- Till and Cash Operations
- Counter service
