We are looking for a talented and driven Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team at The George Hotel, Colchester part of Surya Hotels. Step into an exciting new era of hospitality where you can make your mark, take ownership and bring your personality to everything you do.

The hotel offers 49 heritage rooms and suits, alongside 44 contemporary rooms in St Nicholas. As guests wake to the charm and history of this unique hotel, the breakfast experiences plays an important role in setting the tone for their day. Whether serving a hearty Full English, preparing continental options or dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, our Breakfast Chef helps create memorable first impressions.

What we are looking for in a Breakfast Chef:
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- The ability to deliver high standards consistently
- Outstanding attention to detail
- High standards of health and hygiene
- Clear communication skills
The Breakfast Chef role will require:
- The cleaning and maintaining of equipment
- Complying to food safety and other regulations and rules as set out by the business
- Preparing and cooking items on the menu
- Organising and labelling the kitchen and it's storage
- Managing and ordering in stock
- Keeping wastage to a minimum
