About The Gin Trap Inn: Nestled in the heart of the picturesque northwest Norfolk countryside, The Gin Trap Inn is a charming 17th-century coaching inn. Located just a stone’s throw from the coast, we delight our guests with a warm welcome, exceptional food, and remarkable drinks. Our mission is to exceed guest expectations while maintaining the authenticity of our inn, creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth where guests feel like treasured friends.

We focus on delivering first-class dining experiences, using the finest produce and showcasing beautiful presentation. Our goal is to create memorable moments for guests, ensuring they eagerly anticipate their next visit.

Job Requirements

  • Design and develop seasonal menus that reflect creativity which aligns with Chestnut’s vision.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Ensure every dish meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Dry stock management
  • Working closely with the General Manager to cultivate a positive and motivated work environment, ensuring all team members perform to their best abilities.
