We're in the market for a new superstar Sous Chef to join the team at The Green Man in Stanford. The pub and hotel has come on leaps and bounds and it feels like now is the perfect time to extend the kitchen team to accommodate for a new Sous Chef. 
We have a fantastic renovation coming up soon, so its the perfect time to get aboard and join the team! 

The Green Man is well known around the Bedfordshire area for serving a very good standard of British gastro-pub food. It's popular with both locals and tourists alike, with the charm of a British pub, paired with an amazing restaurant area and some stunning hotel rooms. The menu is chef-lead and the food is all fresh and seasonal, so someone coming from a similar background would be ideal.

The ideal Sous Chef would have experience of deputizing running the kitchen during the Head Chef's absence. The successful candidate will showcase a passion for all things fresh and seasonal produce, as well as have a proven track record with managing teams, ordering, rotaing and general kitchen management. 

In return, there is a great salary package of up to £34K plus tips on offer. The Green Man is part of Red Cat Pub Company, which has over 40 other successful fresh-food ventures around the UK, meaning progression is never too far away.
