KNEAD Hospitality + Design is growing and seeking a sommelier for our upcoming opening of The Grill in VA Beach this September!

We are actively looking for hospitality professionals to help shape the beverage culture of a brand-new restaurant.

What You’ll Do:

• Curate and grow a dynamic wine list rooted in American producers, with thoughtful international selections to keep it fun, diverse, and accessible.
• Drive wine sales through smart pairings, storytelling, and strategic purchasing with a focus on value, variety, and guest experience.
• Lead ongoing wine education and training for staff to build confidence, knowledge, and enthusiasm around the list.
• Build relationships with guests through genuine hospitality and wine-driven experiences that turn first-timers into regulars.
• Partner with the management and culinary teams to create memorable beverage pairings and promotions.
• Collaborate with vendors, distributors, and winemakers to bring in unique offerings and stay ahead of trends.
