48 Hour per week.
You'll be working alongside Executive Chef Jack Gosling, whose culinary journey has taken him from local Norfolk establishments to the two Michelin-starred Spectrum in Amsterdam. Jack brings a unique perspective that blends his deep local roots with world-class international experience, championing an approach to cooking that celebrates Norfolk's incredible seasonal bounty. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to building tight-knit kitchen teams creates an environment where culinary excellence and creativity flourish.
What you’ll be doing:
· Support the Head Chef in daily operations and take charge in their absence
· Lead and supervise the kitchen team during prep, service and close-down
· Ensure all food is prepared to high standards
· Oversee and manage mise en place to ensure smooth service
· Monitor stock level and assist with ordering
· Uphold food safety, hygiene and health & safety at all times
· Train, support and motivate junior chefs
· General kitchen duties
