The Hope & Anchor is a beautiful, lively riverside fine dining pub, with bedrooms, producing exceptional food cooked from local, seasonal ingredients.
In the Spring and Summer months we also offer garden dinning with freshly cooked woodfire Pizzas, BBQ's, live music evenings and a hut which serves ice cream, coffee, cakes and paninis during the day time.
We are currently looking to recruit a Breakfast / Prep Chef to join us at our expanding experienced kitchen brigade Team. The venue is a 2 minute walk from the town centre, situated on the bank of the River Wye, the gateway to the Wye Valley, boasting a riverside location with stunning gardens and outside space to enjoy dining by the river.
We are looking to a creative & passionate individual to join our brigade of passionate chefs.
Requirements
● A passion for delivering the most incredible culinary experiences
● Cooking & preparing high quality dishes
● Being responsible for food hygiene practices & health & safety
● Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
● Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
● Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary & food safety guidelines
Responsibilities
● Produce food of an impeccable standard
● Ensure highest level of cleanliness is achieved in all catering work areas
● Ensure the safety of the building & the people in it with full awareness of health and safety procedures
● Operate at all times in accordance with the Company’s health and safety policies
