Head Chef – Seasonal Menu - Fresh Produce - Quality Gastro Pub - Up to £50k + Bonus – Live-in Accommodation - North London
The Horseshoe, Hampstead, is on the hunt for an exceptional Head Chef to join our family, unleash creativity, and craft dishes that excite every guest. We’re a proud, independent pub and restaurant in Hampstead village, just north of Camden Town, dedicated to quality seasonal British food with a modern gastro twist.
What you’ll do
- Lead a fresh, seasonal kitchen that shines with quality ingredients and consistently standout dishes
- Inspire and support a high-performing team through a culture of creativity, collaboration, and pride
- Keep a sharp eye on profitability while maintaining exceptional standards and menu integrity
- Own the kitchen strategy and guest experience with confidence and fearless leadership
You are
- Passionate about great food, seasonal produce, and inventive cooking
- An approachable, clear communicator who motivates and develops the team
- Highly organized, calm under pressure, and decisive
- A team player who rolls up sleeves and gets things done
- Experienced in fresh-food pubs or premium casual dining, with a track record of excellence
- Commercially minded, balancing creativity with operational profitability
- Ambitious and eager to grow within an award-winning company
