Job description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Restaurant Chef Manager to join our Kitchen/Staff Restaurant team.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Staff Restaurant Chef Manager, who has the ability to deliver 5* service at all times. It is essential to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and has excellent communication skills.

The main responsibilities of this Staff Restaurant Chef Manager position are:
• To monitor food production and service for efficiency and assist where necessary. Implement changes where appropriate.
• To regularly be present in staff restaurant during peak meal service periods, ensuring your guests are looked after.
• To provide a quick and efficient service at all times and be flexible as and when required.
• To take ownership for kitchen and staff restaurant cleanliness at all times. To take care of your uniform, your personal appearance and hygiene in accordance with hotel policy and procedure.
• To ensure that all areas under your control are left clean and tidy at all times and that all equipment is switched off and secure at the end of each shift. Ensure all stock is secure.
• To pro-actively develop relationships at all appropriate levels of the organization.
• To pro-actively seek customer feedback and implement change where appropriate.
• To complete a weekly rota that reflects business needs and manage budgeted payroll costs.
• To liaise with Back of house manager and conduct regular spotchecks in regards to staff restaurant cleanliness, implementing remedial actions.

The ideal candidate for the Staff Restaurant Chef Manager requires the following:

As a Staff Restaurant Chef Manager, you will be working with a dedicated and passionate Kitchen/Staff Restaurant team and will report directly to the Executive Sous Chef You are expected to be passionate about your work and have the desire to progress your career in a leading five star hotel.
