We are a bold, award-winning business who pride ourselves in giving our chefs the freedom to create premium, seasonal menus that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment.  We run friendly, welcoming, and positive kitchens with high standards; always striving to be the best we can be.


We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the family.  Live in is available as an option.


The Lime Kiln has made a reputation for itself as a great quality food destination pub. Nestled in between the towns of Langport and Somerton, we have a loyal and regular custom base. Being 5 minutes from the A303 we also get a substantial trade from people passing through.


Our mission is simple- to offer quality, locally sourced food, whether offering pub classics as well as giving our Head Chef the freedom to include seasonal specials.


The pub is an old 17th Century Cider house that has great and vast outside dining areas as well as a recently refurbished dining room. There is so much opportunity with the fields and gardens to offer outside events and alternative dining experiences for the local and wider community.


Our private hire space the Green Room is available for all kinds of events and special occasions, and our huge beer garden is perfect for al fresco drinking and dining in the warmer months.
