Public Cleaner

Hours: 6:00am to 9:00am
4 days per week
Rolling rota, including weekends

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaner to join our housekeeping team at The Lion Inn.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all public areas are cleaned and presented to an exceptionally high standard before our guests arrive each day. Pride in your work, excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness are essential.

• Clean and maintain all public areas to a consistently high standard.

• Clean and maintain guest and customer toilets throughout the venue.

• Vacuum, mop, dust and polish public areas and surfaces.

• Ensure entrances, corridors and reception areas are clean, tidy and welcoming.

• Replenish cleaning and guest consumables as required.

• Identify and report any maintenance issues promptly.

• Follow all health and safety, cleaning and hygiene procedures.

• Work efficiently and ensure all areas are ready before guests arrive.

• Maintain a professional and positive approach at all times.

The successful candidate will have:

• A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in their work.

• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rolling rota.

You will take pride in creating a clean, fresh and welcoming environment for our guests. You will be dependable, organised and comfortable working independently during the early morning hours.
