This is a vital role in our kitchen – perfect for someone with energy, pride in their work, and a great team attitude.

Located in the charming village of Boreham, just a short drive from Chelmsford, The Lion Inn is a distinguished establishment that seamlessly blends historic charm with contemporary elegance. Originally a traditional public house, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a stylish bistro and boutique hotel, offering guests a unique and memorable experience.

The inn boasts 23 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms, each designed with comfort and style in mind. Guests can enjoy modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some rooms feature private terraces or balconies overlooking the landscaped gardens, providing a tranquil retreat for relaxation.

Culinary excellence is at the heart of The Lion Inn's offering. The bistro-style restaurant serves a diverse menu that combines traditional British fare with modern twists, utilising locally sourced ingredients. Guests can dine in the elegant conservatory, the open-plan dining area, or al fresco in the courtyard garden during warmer months.

Beyond dining and accommodation, The Lion Inn is a sought-after venue for various events, including weddings, corporate meetings, and private parties. The establishment features versatile event spaces equipped with modern facilities to cater to different functions.
