We are currently seeking applications for a Wedding & Events Coordinator with proven experience in wedding/event management, to join the team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.
Key responsibilities of the Wedding & Events Coordinator will include:
• Maximising & driving the wedding and conference business of the hotel
• Promotion and selling of the venue at every opportunity through client show-arounds, marketing events, co-ordinating the production of collateral and PR opportunities to achieve this
• Dealing with clients in person or via telephone & email and responding to all requests in a professional & timely manner, endeavouring to convert every call into a sale whilst providing the highest level of service, integrity and creativity
• The logging of all wedding/event enquiries in line with Red Carnation standards
The ideal candidate for the Wedding & Events Coordinator position should:
• Have successfully graduated with a Hospitality, or Sales & Marketing related degree
• Have previous experience in a similar position within the Hotel/Event industry
• Possess a positive attitude, outgoing, extremely friendly with appreciation for brand driven standards
• Experience assisting wedding couples with all aspects pre and post planning.
• Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
