JOB PURPOSE

To work as part of the BOH team to deliver the best quality service to our guests & ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundamentally working within the BOH team to support and deliver the highest standards of cleanliness.

Play your part within the motivated BOH team keeping the public areas of the business (bar/restaurant/toilets/guest accommodation) clean, presentable and running smoothly, keeping floors and surfaces clean.

Communicate and work well with the team to ensure the delivery of great quality work.

Reporting into the shift supervisor /manager, you will work as part of the team to ensure that our business is presented to the highest standards.

You will manage the balance of responsibilities around the business maintaining cleanliness standards of the back of house areas. You will be able to communicate to your line manager if there is anything you need to ensure you can perform your role (e.g. replenish supplies of cleaning chemicals or materials).

At the start of each shift, you will check in with the manager in charge of shift, to understand the plan for the day – from bookings for the day to cleaning tasks required for completion during your shift.

 At the end of each shift, you will check in with the manager before you end your shift to ensure all tasks are completed and understand what your next shift will involve.

Being a small team, you will be required to carry out a number of different tasks as detailed above.

Take pride to ensure the back of house areas are clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times.

Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.

Complete all appropriate company documentation, due diligence records and key tasks, on every shift.

Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training, online eLearning and workbooks.

Always adhere to all brand standards, company policies and procedures.

Carry out management team requests and brand instructions.

Drive for Results 

Driven to exceed business targets for self and team balancing the need for results and quality standards.

Always put the guest experience at the heart of all you do.

Communicates clearly and articulately and adapts communication style to suit their audience.
