Situated in the picturesque village of Hoar Cross, The Meynell Ingram Arms is a beautifully restored 16th-century country pub that seamlessly blends historic charm with contemporary elegance.
The pub boasts a variety of dining spaces to cater to different preferences, including Sam’s Bar, and the original dog-friendly Meynell bar The redesigned courtyard and garden provide a fabulous space for outdoor dining, ensuring a delightful experience regardless of the weather.
Culinary excellence is at the heart of The Meynell Ingram Arms' offerings. The menu features a delectable range of options, including the pie of the day, 28-day aged steaks, and other locally sourced dishes. Guests can also enjoy wood-fired pizzas from the dedicated pizza oven, available on certain days.

The job in a nutshell
Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food hygiene
Learn how to manage ingredients, prep, plating, and kitchen safety
Support the team during busy service times and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
Take every opportunity to grow your skills and confidence
A genuine interest in food and cooking
A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Ability to take instruction and work calmly under pressure
Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
