Head Concierge ***luxury 5-star hotel in London***

We are looking for a Head Concierge on a full-time basis.  Reporting directly into the Senior Executive of Hotel Services, this role focuses on managing a concierge team of 7ppl.

Working pattern: 40 hours per week / working 5 days on and 2 days off / shift work / 9:30am to 5:30pm / 9:30am to 6pm

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role in a four- or five-star hotel, with excellent communication and organisational skills; a proven track record of problem solving and IT knowledge. Someone friendly, welcoming, and innovative.

As a Head Concierge you will:

  • To take overall responsibility of smooth day to day running of concierge operations as per Forbes 5-star standards. The role requires an excellent concierge knowledge of London establishing relationships with local attractions, restaurants, and other businesses to enhance guests' experiences. Ensuring that repeat and VIP guests are receiving appropriate service and ensuring their requests are carried out.
  • Coordinate all concierge team to ensure that guests can be treated in a warm and friendly manner and that all guests can be dealt with efficiently through consistent commitment to training, both on and off the job.
  • To continuously assess SOP Manuals and ensure that operations are carried out in line with them.
  • To ensure the smooth running of all concierge and lobby operations.
  • To ensure regular standards audit are carried out by yourself and feedback given to the team in line with RCH Standards.
  • To be fully responsible for concierge rotas, timesheets, payroll and holiday management.
  • To be fully responsible for teams 1:1s and appraisals and their timely completion.
