We are looking for a Room Service Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone with previous experience within a Room Service Supervisor role with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail who enjoys delivering personalised service to guests.  This position reports into the Room Service Manager. 

Location: The Milestone Hotel & Residences

Employment type: Full-time

Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off 

Salary: £27,000 per year + service charge

The Milestone Hotel and Residences part of the Red Carnation Hotels , is a beautiful five star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.  

Key Responsibilities of a Room Service Supervisor:

• Oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the hotel’s room service, ensuring consistent, high-quality service is delivered to guests.
• Collaborate with other departmental managers, keeping them informed of any Food & Beverage challenges as they arise and working together to resolve issues efficiently.
• Supervise and guide the Room Service team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of service.
• Train, coach, and develop the Room Service team to ensure service consistency and adherence to hotel standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate order delivery to guest rooms, maintaining attention to detail in both food quality and presentation.
• Monitor room service inventory levels, ensuring stock is adequately maintained and all items are in good condition.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

• Previous experience in a Room Service Supervisor role, ideally within a luxury hotel or high-end service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering personalized, exceptional service.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in supervising a team.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining professionalism and calm.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs.
