This is a great opportunity to take the exciting next step in your hospitality career and work as part of the Kitchen team within Surya Hotels.  We're looking for a Chef De Partie (CDP) to join us.

It’s a picture perfect scene. Swans glide past a whitewashed mill, nestled on the riverbank by an ancient bridge, framed by weeping willows. Lush green water-meadows stretch as far as the eye can see. Welcome to The Mill Hotel, a beautifully converted watermill in the quintessential country town of Sudbury, Suffolk- with restaurant, terrace, and bars- there's multiple food options to show your culinary flare.

We are looking for an enthusiastic CDP Chef  to join the brigade, with a true passion for great food with a clear focus on presentation and quality service;

Your CDP responsibilities include:

· Assist in the creation, cooking and presentation of the menu items- running your section when fully trained and confident

· Supporting more senior Chefs in brigade- Sous/ Head Chef- Working as team to deliver great food to guests in a timely manner

· To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section- great food, every time!

· Following Food Safety, and Health & Hygiene regulations at all times, including clear up and cleanliness of section

About you:

· Passionate about food and mouth watering taste combinations

. Determined to deliver the best results, regardless of pressure- you 'get' the buzz of the kitchen during busy service!

· A team player, who values input from others- you bring enthusiasm and ideas, and demonstrate your passion for food

· Exceptional attention to detail- you deliver to food specs and recipes

· Willing to share ideas around improving the customer’s experience- whether that's creating a new sauce or practicing your knife skills!
