Are you energetic, friendly, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for families? We are looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team at our beautiful countryside family resort.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging activity sessions, maintaining exceptional presentation standards across our activity areas, and helping guests create lasting holiday memories.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise a range of indoor and outdoor activity sessions for guests of all ages.
• Engage confidently with guests, ensuring everyone feels welcome, included, and has a positive experience.
• Build excellent relationships with families and interact particularly well with children, encouraging participation and enjoyment.
• Ensure all activity areas, equipment, and facilities are presented to the highest standard at all times.
• Maintain excellent cleanliness and housekeeping standards across all activity venues and outdoor spaces.
• Set up, prepare, and pack away activities safely and efficiently.
• Support special events and seasonal activity programmes.
• Promote a fun, safe, and positive atmosphere throughout the resort.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operating standards.

Health & Safety

• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety procedures.
• Carry out safety checks on equipment and activity areas.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents, or accidents promptly.
• Take responsibility for guest safety and wellbeing during activity sessions.
• Assist with emergency procedures when required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of risk assessments and safe working practices.

About You

• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is confident leading groups and delivering activities.
• Works well as part of a team and can also use their own initiative.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Is reliable, flexible, and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
• Has a strong commitment to health and safety.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a leisure, hospitality, childcare, outdoor activity, or customer service role.
• First Aid qualification.
• Relevant activity, sport, or leisure qualifications.
• Experience working with children and young people.
