We’re seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our talented team at The Old Queens Head. 

Our Kitchen Porter will be the backbone of the kitchen and is vital for the smooth running of this unique dining experience. Our Kitchen Porter will be responsible for keeping the kitchen tidy and ensuring all stations are ready for action. 

Main responsibilities will include: 

• Cleaning the kitchen, including dishes, pots, pans, and other cookware

• Ensuring that cookware is sanitary and put away in the correct place 

• Helping with food preparation 

• Shopping for supplies and equipment 

• Organizing food and other items in the stockroom 

• Unloading and putting away deliveries

• Deep cleaning fridges and storage rooms

This position is a fantastic starting point to observe service and learn the basics of the kitchen before progressing to a chef position within our vibrant hospitality group.
