Description
We’re looking for a Venue Manager to join the leadership team at The Old Queen’s Head.

The Old Queen’s Head is a busy North London pub that moves between great food, proper pints and late nights. We serve one of the area’s most popular Sunday roasts, we’ve recently launched our in-house pizza concept Hot Saint, and our back room hosts DJs and club nights throughout the week. It’s a venue with a lot going on, and it needs a team that can keep things running smoothly while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming.This role reports into the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. You’ll work across both food and bar operations, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience and gain exposure to both sides of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Running Service Leading shifts across the pub, restaurant and events, making sure service runs smoothly and guests are well looked after.

  • Team Leadership Supporting the team on the floor, setting standards and helping people improve through clear guidance and coaching.

  • Operations Managing the practical side of the venue including rotas, cash-ups, stock control and shift organisation.

  • Food & Bar Oversight Working across both departments to support the kitchen and bar teams and keep the guest experience consistent throughout the venue.

  • Supporting the AGM & GM Working closely with the senior leadership team to keep the venue performing well and the team motivated.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in busy hospitality venues

  • Confidence leading teams during service

  • A strong understanding of pub operations

  • Someone organised, calm and solutions-focused

  • A genuine interest in pubs, food and hospitality
