Role: Shift Engineer
Salary: £34,000 pa. 4 on 4 off (12hr shift pattern) average 42hr per week - INCLUDING NIGHT SHIFTS
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our engineering team as a Engineer.
As a Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Residence club and the systems on property. You will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our residents
What are we Looking for:
Proven experience as a Shift Engineer/Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Technical certifications or trade licenses are desirable.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire and life safety systems.
Proficient in performing repairs and maintenance tasks related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Familiarity with energy management and conservation practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and external contractors.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces if required.
Knowledge of relevant safety and building codes and regulations.
